Shred Instead Process
Once your scheduled service has been set, one of our certified Shred Instead Customer Service Technicians will arrive at your location with a state-of-the-art mobile shredding truck.
The Shred Instead Technician will use a secure Rolling Bin to transport your materials to the shredding truck for destruction. A hydraulic lift raises and empty’s the Rolling Bin onto the industrial grade paper shredder mounted in the truck. Every Shred Instead shredding truck is equipped with a closed-circuit camera and video monitoring system. This allows our customers the opportunity to verify that all information is shredded beyond reconstruction and ensures a Hands-Free Shredding Process, where the technician doesn’t touch any of the materials.
We provide our clients with a Certificate of Destruction on the same day as your shredding service. We recommend that you retain this certificate for your records as every organization is responsible for the secure disposal of all information collected about their customers, as mandated by law.
